NFL Flag Football


Are you ready for some football?

Join the largest youth flag football organization in the country!


This 16-practice/8-game season held on alternating Saturdays & Sundays is a 5 vs. 5, non-contact, recreational, co-ed format. We try to limit teams to 9-11 players to maximize playing time. This is an exceptional program for first-time players who want to learn the fundamentals of football. This is also a wonderful opportunity for players who want to continue enhancing their skills before taking the next leap into tackle football. There are NO TRY-OUTS! Everyone participates!

Games will take place between 10:00 am - 8:00 pm on Saturday & Sunday (subject to change depending on field availability and league size). Exact schedules will be created and posted 1-2 weeks prior to the season start date. Practices take place one hour prior to game time each week to ensure a convenient and fun experience for all! Coaches will have the “option” to host one additional practice during the week. Schedule times can vary from week to week and slight changes may occur to the schedule after initial posting.

 Participants will receive an NFL FLAG reversible jersey and flag belt, theirs to keep! All 32 NFL Clubs will be represented! (Refer to our  sizing chart  for jerseys as the NFL FLAG styles/sizes have recently been updated)

All participants will receive individual participation awards at the end of the season.

All age divisions (6U thru 14U) will participate in playoff games on the last day of the season - only 1st place teams will receive awards!


Our program relies on volunteer parents to coach our teams! Each team will have up to 3 volunteers assigned. We encourage all parents interested in volunteering to do so during the registration process. Positions available are; Head Coach, Assistant Coach, and Team Manager. No experience is required as we will provide several resources along with a comprehensive coach meeting to ensure all coaches have a fun and successful season!

Registration will be from January 3rd, 2025 through - March 31st , 2025.

Season First Game: April 13th, 2025 

Season Expected End Date: May 18th, 2025

Makeup Dates: 4/26, 5/17, 5/18 Subject to Change (based on the weather)

Blackout Dates: 4/20 & 5/11

 

Ages: 4-14

Late registration will open after the deadline or when all ages are filled, but will be dependent on availability and will be subject to up to a $20.00 late fee. 

All merchandise purchased will be shipped directly to your home (Address entered during the registration process). A $12.99 shipping fee will be added to all participant's registrations.

Spring 2025- What To Expect Next

We are excited to have you join us and appreciate your support.

Communication is key to ensuring the success of the league. Over the course of this season, we will be sending you emails with the information you will need this season. Due to this being a mass email system, please check your filters to ensure that messages do not get lost in your junk mail folder.Included are answers to some common questions you may have.If you have any questions, you can email us at [email protected].

Spring registration opens January 3rd, 2025 until March 31st, 2025.After the registration deadline, late registration is based upon availability and is not guaranteed. Once registration is full, we will build a waitlist and fill openings from the waitlist on a first-come, first-serve basis. A $20.00 increase in registration will apply and you will be placed on any team that has openings in your age division. Buddy and Coach requests are less likely to be met during late registration.

 

EQUIPMENT:

NFL FLAG Jersey, Flag Belt/Flags, and a mouth guard must be worn each week. Your jersey and flag belt, plus any additional merchandise you ordered during your registration will be shipped directly to your home. A $12.99 shipping fee will be applied during registration. Your player MUST have a mouthguard to participate. 

Shorts and/or pants without pockets are to be worn during games. If a participant wears shorts/pants with pockets, the pockets need to be taped down to prohibit a player's hand or fingers from getting caught in them when pulling flags. 
 
Players can wear any type of plastic molded cleats or sneakers. No metal cleats allowed. 

 

COMMON QUESTIONS:

WHEN WILL MY PLAYER(S) RECEIVE THEIR EQUIPMENT?
Once we complete putting teams together, we will send the rosters to our inventory department which will begin to pack and ship out individual equipment to each player. You should expect your NFL FLAG jersey, flag belt, and any other equipment you may have purchased no later than our scheduled Meet & Greet. You must bring a mouthguard to every practice and game. 


WHAT OTHER EQUIPMENT WILL MY PLAYER NEED THIS SEASON?
Whether you’re new to the sport or a seasoned professional, there are a few essential pieces every player needs. Use our Flag Football Equipment Checklist to be prepared for your next game.
 
WHEN WILL I HEAR FROM MY COACH? 
We are hosting our virtual coaches meeting prior to the season. You should hear from your coach the week before Meet & Greet.

WILL THERE BE ANY PRACTICES DURING THE WEEK?
This is a recreational program with no barriers to entry, so we are on a mission to make our favorite sport accessible, inclusive, and fun for every child who wants to play. Part of this mission is only requiring a 2-hour commitment from families each week allowing them time to participate in additional activities. Therefore, coaches have the “option” to host additional practices prior to the start of the season or one practice during the season aside from the team's scheduled time on the designated day.


WE WOULD LIKE TO ADD SOME OF THE ADDITIONAL MERCHANDISE AFTER WE COMPLETED THE REGISTRATION BUT THE OPTIONS ARE NO LONGER SHOWING. CAN WE STILL PURCHASE ANY OF THOSE ITEMS?
Once the registration has been completed, the optional merchandise can not be added to the initial order, however, families are welcome to shop our NFL Flag Fan Shop any time to rep their team or grab some official NFL Flag gear! Be sure to use our organization code 404bulls at checkout.

ARE THERE PLAYOFFS?
Yes! The top 4 teams in each age division will participate in playoffs on the last week of the season. This will be a single elimination playoffs.
